🎵 Falling Down

I didn’t trip.
I didn’t stumble.
I just let go.

It wasn’t dramatic. No scream, no flailing. Just a slow surrender — like gravity had been waiting patiently, and I finally gave it permission.

I used to think falling meant failure. That it was something to be avoided, resisted, fought. But today, it felt like truth. Like honesty in motion.

The piano was playing when it happened. Soft, hesitant notes. I don’t know who was playing — maybe no one. Maybe it was just the sound of something inside me unravelling.

I didn’t cry. Not then.
But I did later, when I realized I wasn’t broken. Just… quieter.

There’s a kind of peace in the descent.
Not relief. Not escape.
Just the absence of pretending to be upright.

I’ll stand again. I always do.
But for now, I’m letting the silence speak.
